E = (3*x - 1)² - 4*x²

si x = -2

=> E = (3 * (-2) - 1)² - 4 * (-2)²

     = (-6 - 1)² - 4 * 4

     = (-7)² - 16

     = 49 - 16

     = 33

Développement

vous savez que (a-b)² = a² - 2ab + b²

donc on aura

E = (3x)² - 2*3x*1 + 1² - 4x²

   = 9x² - 6x + 1 - 4x²

   = 5x² - 6x + 1

Factorisation

E peut s'écrire = (3x - 1)² - (2x)²

et comme a² - b² = (a+b) (a-b)

on aura

E = (3x-1 + (2x)) (3x-1 -2x))

   = (5x-1) (-x-1)

et

si (x-1) (5x-1) = 0

alors soit x-1 = 0 => x = 1

soit 5x-1 = 0 => x = 1/5
