    Were ,= you, we, they

    1- Nelson Mandela wasn't American, he was South African.

    3- Charles Dickens was an English writer.

    3- John Lennon and the Beatles were English.

    4- Amy Winehouse wasn't American.

    5- Whitney Houston was an American singer and actress.

    6- Chaplin wasn't American.

    7- Bob Marley was the King of reggae.
